Leadership Team

Management Overview

Management team consists of industry veterans with strong engineering, technical, and operational backgrounds with an average of 16 years of highly relevant industry experience. Each individual is a disciplined professional executive with a proven track record and a commitment to MIRATECH's values, customers, and the quality of our products and services.

Our Board of Directors is also very deep with talent. Each individual contributes to the development of the organization utilizing their many years of technical expertise plus their broad commercial and market knowledge as well.

David Zenthoefer

Chief Executive Officer

David Zenthoefer has worked in the Industrial markets since graduating from the University of Tulsa. His undergraduate major of marketing and economics was followed with his MBA from TU in International Business. He spent his first 7 years working for Hilti advancing thru multiple sales and sales management roles on the west coast. David was the Southwest USA Division Manager for Hilti (based in Irvine, Calif.) when he was approached regarding an opportunity to get back to Tulsa. The opportunity to join a dynamic organization operating in the air emission arena was appealing challenge.

In 2006, David moved back to Tulsa to join MIRATECH as the Director of Sales. MIRATECH engineers, manufactures and services advanced emission and acoustical products for large industrial reciprocating engines. The four main markets where MIRATECH has a significant market share are: Power Generation, Gas Compression, OEM and Marine. MIRATECH supplies these markets globally and has three manufacturing facilities in the US and Canada. Having recently worked through a private equity transition, MIRATECH is now owned by Argonaut Private Equity (based in Tulsa as well).

David was promoted to the CEO role during this transition and leads a team of 150 employees across North America. David has been married to his wife Carrie for 15 years and he enjoys golfing, tennis and lake time.

Doug Janes

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Janes has spent his entire 20 year accounting and finance career in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His role as Chief Financial Officer at MIRATECH includes providing strategic direction through management of all financial policies and functions and also includes oversight of MIRATECH’s manufacturing operations.

Prior to joining MIRATECH, Mr. Janes has held several senior level accounting and finance positions. After starting his career in public accounting, Mr. Janes went on to Controller positions with a Tulsa SaaS start-up serving the oil and gas industry and then with a Tulsa based E&P operator. As CFO and co-founder of Best Well Services, LLC, an Oklahoma based oilfield services provider, Mr. Janes helped grow the company from a start-up to nearly $40MM in revenues and 260 employees while leading the company to be named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 500|5000 list of fastest growing private companies twice.

Mr. Janes holds a B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University along with Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant certifications.

John Sartain

Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Development

Mr. Sartain has over 18 years of experience in the emission and exhaust industry during his time with MIRATECH. He is responsible for managing application engineering, design engineering, product development, software engineering and the MIS departments. Additionally, Mr. Sartain is responsible for managing the development and integration of the proprietary software system designed for emission and sound system sizing and proposal generation / maintenance, as well as managing the transition of product improvement and introductions from product development through production and sales. Mr. Sartain holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa.

Nick Detor

Division Sales Manager Power Generation

Mr. Detor has worked at MIRATECH for 14 years and has 30 years of experience in the emission and exhaust industry. He is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Power Generation Sales team, driving revenue , reviewing project costs, and corresponding with customers. Prior to his role with MIRATECH, he worked at Stewart & Stevenson Services as a sales and service representative in the Power Generation division and was responsible for new product and service sales. Mr. Detor holds a B.S. in diesel power technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology.

Jonathan Roberts

Division Sales Manager International & Rail/Marine

Mr. Roberts brings 30 years of experience in the emission control, engine, and silencing industries serving both domestic and international markets. His 11 years' experience with MIRATECH has made him a trusted and valued resource in the Power Generation, Rail and Marine communities. Customers rely on his knowledge in current and future industry and regulatory trends. Mr. Roberts will be responsible for growing MIRATECH’s international footprint by increasing sales and channels throughout the world. In addition to the international markets, he will also be responsible for growing the Marine and Rail markets using the expanded MIRATECH product lines. Mr. Roberts holds both a B.S and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
