Annual GPA Convention

MIRATECH will be attending 
The GPA Convention is where midstream meets. For more than nine decades, GPA has led the midstream industry in research, technology, setting and adopting standards for natural gas and natural gas liquids, and more recently, working with legislators and regulators to represent the industry at state and federal levels.

Each year, the GPA Convention brings together more than 2,000 professionals involved in natural gas gathering, compression, treating, processing, storage and marketing, and natural gas liquids fractionation, transportation, storage and marketing, all with the common interest of meeting about – and making a difference in – midstream matters.

MIRATECH Attends!
The 2014 GPA Convention hosted 2,600 attendees representing 636 companies and 24 countries. Countries represented included: Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, France, India, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Holland, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Trinidad, United Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

A large percentage of GPA Convention attendees are decision-makers within their companies, with nearly 20% holding an executive title (chief executive officer, chief operating officer, president, director, senior vice president and vice president). A large percentage of attendees at the executive level have an engineering degree and background, as do the more than 30% holding a manager title.

More than 20% of our attendees hold engineering titles, including but not limited to the following: applications engineer, automation engineer, consulting engineer, controls engineer, environmental engineer, facility engineer, field engineer, gas processing engineer, mechanical engineer, operating engineer, plant engineer, process engineer and project engineer.
